Aid for AIDS of Nevada Awarded Three-Year CARF Accreditation
Las Vegas, NV — CARF International announced that Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) has been accredited for a period of three years for its unwavering commitment to providing those affected by HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada with educational programs and life-changing CARE services.
This is the first accreditation that CARF has awarded to AFAN and they will be one of only three organizations in Las Vegas that have received this prestigious accreditation. This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards.

Statement from Aid for AIDS of Nevada
It is with great regret that I announce the resignation of our Executive Director, Jennifer Morss, effective October 7, 2011. Several weeks ago, Jennifer informed the Board of Trustees that she had been considering an opportunity that offered her the next logical step in her career, while also being the best decision for her family. The Board has explored every possibility and made every effort to retain her. We know that this has been a difficult decision for her to make and one that has not been made lightly. Jennifer has pondered over this decision for many weeks, being torn between her long time commitment to AFAN and the significant career opportunity presented.
